Now you can give any car the look and feel of a super car with a Stop Tech Big Brake kit. These kits exceed your stock brake's performance in two important areas. First are the larger rotors. These rotors have greatly increased capacity for heat. Second are the stiffer calipers. Stiffer brake calipers and the included stainless steel lines significantly reduce system compliance.

The key feature of the Big Brake Kit, however, is that increased heat capacity and reduced compliance that comes without upsetting the balance of the stock front to rear brake torque ratio. Many less expensive brake kits add too much front torque and this reduces your car's ability utilize all of the tractive ability in your tires. This is a performance sacrifice that you cannot afford. In addition, too many caliper pistons or pistons that are too large for the system make your brake pedal much more difficult to modulate. This limits the amount of control you have over your brake input on the street or at the track.
