Hedman's standard duty, uncoated exhaust headers are designed for those Honda Civic and CRX owners who wish to apply their own type of paint or coating. The 38040 headers are manufactured from 18 gauge, mandrel bent primary tubes and ?" flanges. They come from the factory with a coating of black paint that is not high temp and is applied for corrosion protection only during storage and shipping. Hedman recommends their original HTC Ceramic-Metallic thermal protection coating. All Hedman headers are designed to fit your specific application and come pre-packaged with the appropriate gaskets, bolts, nuts, connectors and, where applicable, emission components. All Hedman street Hedders are proudly made in the USA, and are backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects!
